Data bindings of embedded objects allows you to transfer a report or an evaluation of a plant to an identical or similar plant with little effort. With this feature you use an already existing layout and linked influence data points (e.g. the outside temperature) remain in the report. Only data points that are directly assigned to the plant, such as the respective power consumption, have to be changed.

To do this, first copy an existing report. Then open the “Data bindings of embedded objects” function which you find in the report settings. There you can exchange the data points by drag & drop. This way, the data points in the entire report will be adjusted accordingly.

This feature is particularly suitable for reports in which many time series or other analyses access only a few data points, such as load profile analyses.
